Return Policy

All claims, including damage claims, discrepancies, late delivery claims, or any issues, must be submitted in writing within 3 business days of the gift's receipt. Our policy strictly adheres to this timeline without exceptions.

In the event of a damaged gift or a discrepancy between the ordered gift and what was received, DBGift Baskets is committed to resolving the issue promptly and to the customer's satisfaction, provided the issue is reported within 3 business days. The issuance of credits and refunds is solely at the discretion of DBGiftBaskets and is contingent upon the carrier's verification of damaged gifts or discrepancies. Please note that if the gift is disposed of before we can verify the damages or discrepancies, no refund will be issued.

All claims must be submitted in writing through fax or email; claims via phone will not be accepted.

If a gift is returned because it is unwanted or for reasons unrelated to a DBGIFTBASKETS error, the customer may return the gift at their expense, provided it is shipped back within 3 days of delivery. A partial refund of the merchandise value only will be offered; original shipping costs are non-refundable. The refund amount is contingent upon the condition and perishability of the returned gift, which must be unopened, untampered with, and returned within 3 days of receipt.

In the case of a damaged gift, including but not limited to heat damage, or if we have made an error in sending the incorrect gift, we will call tag the original gift. Once the original gift has been retrieved, we will proceed to ship a new one or refund the gift in full. If we are unable to call tag the original gift, no refund or credit will be provided. Retrieving the original gift is our method for verifying the recipient's claim or initiating a claim with the carrier if necessary.

We kindly request that you post this information on your website and include it within your claims policy. DBGIFTBASKETS is unequivocal in its policy, and no exceptions will be made.

In cases where a recipient claims items or pieces are missing, damaged, stale, melted, or makes similar claims, DBGIFTBASKETS requires specific information from the original box to process the recipient's claim. This information includes the three lines of data from the 1 x 2 5/8 white label on the side or bottom of the original shipping box, not the UPS label. Without this information, we cannot assist in the claim process.

Please note that all gifts returned through no fault of DBGIFTBASKETS will incur a 20% restocking fee. Shipping charges encompass delivery to the recipient, return shipping to Gift Basket Drop Shipping, and any address correction fees related to the return. Returned food gifts cannot be reused, and all food items must be discarded due to potential heat and temperature damage. Reshipments of returned gifts are treated as new orders, and all fees associated with new orders apply. Fruit baskets, Cookie Bouquets, and all Specialty cookies & Fortune cookies do not qualify for refunds when returned due to a bad address or the recipient's refusal of the item, as these items must be discarded.

For gifts delivered late or not in accordance with the time in transit map, partial shipping refunds may be considered based on the circumstances. However, there will be no discount or refund on the gift itself when delivered late, and gifts may not be returned due to a late delivery. We strongly recommend including this information on your website and within your Damage/Return policy.
